CIVIL CORP SPECIAL!

Alright, my friends (and some foes) tomorrow the GREEN LANTERN CIVIL CORP special comes out.

A MUST READ to bridge what was happening in friend Phillip Kennedy Johnson’s John Stewart War Journal series and what’s going on in the Green Lantern book I’m writing.

Phillip is not just one of my favorite comic writers out there, but he’s an incredibly sweet and humble guy. It was a pleasure putting this thing together with him.

Last weekend was the LOS ANGELES COMIC CON.

As you can see I had some help this weekend by my two minions. They had an amazing time. Shopping, riding bulls, more shopping, etc.

Charlotte told me as we were walking out, her eyes all aglow, “I just love all these people and their creativity!”

Me too, kid…me too…

But please…be a Doctor or lawyer haha.

Actually, my favorite thing to come out of the con was so many incredible creators that I had met last year, who told me they were making their own book, and this year, they came up to show me what they had made! They attributed some of what they did to well wishes and advice I gave them, but who am I? They did something that I haven’t had the guts to do - YET. But it’s inspiring nonetheless.

Next up, we have NEW YORK COMIC CON, where we are going to have some exciting news regarding a new book (or more perhaps?) that I’ll be writing. I can’t wait to spill the beans.

Post San Diego feels like a whirlwind. The kids are back in school, I’m just hacking away on the keyboard, and forget Halloween, it feels like Christmas is already here!

But, I wanted to post to thank you to everyone that has come by to say hi, throw some encouragement my way, and just be all around swell. I’m having an absolute blast writing, and it’s never lost on me how rare it is that I get to make a living at this.
